Committees
Members of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce may join any of the following committees.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE - Chair: Josh Walton
Purpose: Support established members and encourage economic & small business development and growth in the Perry area.
Meets quarterly, 3:30 p.m., at the Chamber.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE - Chair: Alan Everidge
Purpose: Promote and enhance the quality of education in Houston County, especially in the Perry area.
Meeting dates are set as needed.
MILITARY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE - Chair: Tony Adolphues
Purpose: Provide support to Robins Air Force Base in an effort to keep it viable as the economic engine that drives Middle Georgia.
Meets quarterly. (Additional membership fee required.)
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE - Chair: Mike Baker
Purpose: Facilitate productive relationships between the Chamber and governing agencies.
Meets 3rd Wednesday of even numbered months, 4:00 p.m., at the Chamber.
SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE - Chair: Dr. Stacey Carter-Fite
Purpose: To plan, promote, and attend special events hosted by the Chamber to raise non-dues revenue.
Meetings are arranged according to events.
MEMBER SERVICES COMMITTEE/PERRY DIPLOMATS - Chair: Glenn Anderson
Purpose: Encourage membership growth, promote member services, and increase public awareness of the Chamber of Commerce’s mission and activities.
Meets once a month on a rotating schedule. Times vary.
